Минимальное запаздывание, для которого степень временной когерентности принимает значение, равное нулю.
Примечание
Если степень взаимной когерентности монотонно зависит от запаздывания и расстояния между точками с координатами R1 и R1, то время когерентности τc, длину когерентности Δc, площадь когерентности Sc и объем когерентности Vc определяют по спаду степени взаимной когерентности до уровня 0,5.

Метод разнесения, который обеспечивает эффективную борьбу с пакетами ошибок в каналах с многолучевым распространением радиоволн. Концепция временного разнесения основана на передаче одной и той же информации в различные моменты времени, обычно через интервалы, которые значительно больше времени когерентности. На практике временное разнесение обычно используется совместно с поблочным перемежением и помехоустойчивым кодированием сигнала. См. тж. coherence time, interleaving.
